Flax & Fleece is a small clothing label that aims to create beautiful timeless garments with minimal impact on our Earth. Every element of the construction process is lovingly done by one pair of hands in the Murchison, Western Australia. 

All of the garments are made from quality natural fibres, handcrafted to stand the test of time. The offcuts of paper, card and fabric from the construction process are composted and put back into the soil of a thriving vegetable garden. The machines and tools used in the process run on solar power on an off- grid system and everything is either made-to-order or made in small batches to eliminate waste. 

All of the tags and packaging used are made from recycled materials and can be either re- used or composted. 

I am a strong believer in the slow fashion movement and in having transparent origins of clothing for conscious consumers. I design garments in the hope that they will be loved and worn for many years, by people who care where and how their clothing is made. 

I am the mother of two small humans and the wife of a farmer, living on a sheep station in the outback. When you buy from me you’re not just supporting my business and family, you’re supporting a whole rural community. So Thank you.
